www.marmucommerce.com

MarMuCommerce, co-founded by the European Commission in the framework of the Interreg IIIC Programme, aims to investigate and develop a business model that allows museums and other non-profit organisations to overcome the obstacles arisen in the engagement of new commercial and entrepreneurial activities.

This ambitious 3 year Project counts with the participation of maritime museums, renown Universities, and representatives of local and regional authorities. They try to find jointly self funding alternatives for non profit organisations, organised around a business model, designed and tested during the project, which can be benchmarked by other institutions with similar requirements.
