KARSTEN SEIDEL

Born 1958, is experienced in EU Industrial and regional policy, and EU Institutional representation as well as in International relations. He got a MSc in Economics by the University of Bremen in 1988 and succeeded with his PhD in 1999. He is director of "European Networks and Cooperation" a consultancy on European networks, project applications, and regional development. He has been working on EU projects since 1988, with especial emphasis in Telecommunication Research projects; Maritime Transport and port affairs; Evaluation of Technical Aid, Regional Benchmarking, Urban Planning and Regional Development.

ANA ITURBE MACH

Born in 1973, got a Diploma on Technician in Enterprises and tourist activities. She got a MSc in Cultural and tourist Management by the University Deusto. She is experienced in funding search and customer requirements studies, acquired in organisations as N.I.S. North Incoming Services, Fondo Formación or Maritime Museum Ría de Bilbao Foundation. She has got a wide experience in consultancy for cultural organisations and a deep knowledge in tourist and cultural marketing and training; Currently she works as assistant director of Institutional Relations at Maritime Museum Ría de Bilbao Foundation.

IGNACIO RADA COTERA

Born 1975 did his law studies in Bilbao (Deusto University). He holds an MSc in European Studies (Bilbao–Saarbrücken) and an MSc in management of human resources. After his studies he worked as Barrister Assistant and then he joined the Department of European Affairs of the Basque Government in Vitoria-Gasteiz and the Maritime Museum Ría de Bilbao Foundation for several years. He has a wide experience in fundraising and Management of projects. As a shareholder currently he is general manager of IkerConsulting. He also works as professor for Financial Services Management.

UWE KAUFMANN

Born 1959, got a Diploma in Computer Sciences by the University of Bremen. He has got a wide experience acquired during years of work at Bremen Institute for Industrial Technology and applied Work Science (BIBA). Uwe Kaufmann has worked as consultant at InfoConsult GmbH, Society for the Development of Information Technologies, where he shares the responsibility of Managing Director since 1999. His main expertise is in design and management of databases; Applied computer science; Operating systems; Security needs for information and communication systems; Network applications and Project Management.

PETER KNACKFUSS

Born 1955, is over 20 years experienced in project management and development of regional, trans-national or interregional policies. Mechanical Engineer, specialised in Industrial Engineering and economics, succeeded with his PhD in 1992. During 12 years he worked at Bremen Institute for Industrial Technology and applied Work Science (BIBA). Currently he is Managing Director of InfoConsult GmbH, Society for the Development of Information Technologies. His main expertise is in Technology transfer to SMEs; Co-operation for international research; Regional and interregional concepts to enhance technologic infrastructures; Support of SME and Administrations to participate in European co-operations and administrative and financial management of European co-operations.
